Walking
If you are in the main area of Marsaskala, head towards the waterfront promenade. Walk along the promenade heading south towards St. Thomas Bay. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade, where you will see a sign for Marsaxlokk. From here, follow the road signs directing you towards Marsaxlokk. It will take approximately 30 minutes to walk there, and you'll enjoy beautiful views of the sea along the way.
Bus
From Marsaskala, locate the nearest bus stop which is usually near the main square. Take the bus number 81 or 85 heading towards Valletta. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Marsaxlokk' stop. The bus will drop you off near the entrance of the village. From there, it’s a short walk to the waterfront where you can explore the famous fishing boats and local markets.
