Getting There

    From any point in Marsaskala, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for bus routes 81 or 82, which travel towards Valletta. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the last stop in Valletta. Once you disembark, follow the signs towards the main entrance of Valletta. Walk straight along Republic Street until you reach the busy square in front of the Parliament building. From here, turn left onto Mediterranean Street. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at Fort St. Elmo, located on St. Elmo Place.

    If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Marsaskala and head northwest towards the coastline. Follow the coastal promenade along the sea until you reach the main road. Continue walking along the main road, which will lead you towards Valletta. This route is approximately 8 km and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Valletta, take the same route as mentioned above: walk along Republic Street, turn left onto Mediterranean Street, and continue until you arrive at Fort St. Elmo.
