Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the center of Marsaskala, at the main square near the promenade. Head northwest on Triq il-Knisja towards Triq il-Luzzu. Continue straight until you reach the bus stop 'Marsaskala'. From there, take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Valletta, get off at the 'Castille Square' stop. Walk towards Triq Sant' Orsla, which is a short 5-minute walk. The Upper Barrakka Gardens will be on your left, just past the Auberge de Castille.

    From Marsaskala, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Marsaskala'. Board bus number 81 or 82 heading towards Valletta. After about 30 minutes, disembark at 'Castille Square'. From there, exit the bus stop and walk towards Triq Sant' Orsla. The Upper Barrakka Gardens will be located about 5 minutes on foot to your left.
