Walking
Starting from the Marsaskala promenade, walk south towards the Marsaskala bay. Continue along the coast until you reach the main road. Turn right onto Triq il-Luzzu and follow it straight. After about 10 minutes, keep an eye out for a sign for Darmanin Salt Pans on your left. Continue walking, and you will find the entrance to the salt pans right at the coordinates VH9F+6G5.

From the main bus stop in Marsaskala, take bus number 81 towards Valletta. Get off at the stop 'Kuncizzjoni' after about 10 minutes. Walk back a short distance to the intersection and take the road leading towards the salt pans. Follow this road straight for about 15 minutes, and you will arrive at the Darmanin Salt Pans.
