From the center of Mdina, head towards the main gate (Mdina Gate) and exit the city. Once you are outside the gate, turn left and follow the signs towards Mġarr. Keep walking straight along the road for about 2.5 kilometers. You will pass through a rural area with beautiful views. As you approach Mġarr, you will see the signs for Fomm ir-Riħ Beach. Continue following the road until you reach the beach area, which is located just off the main road.

From Mdina, walk to the nearest bus stop at the outskirts of the city. You can catch the bus number 101 or 103 heading towards Mġarr. The bus will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Mġarr stop and from there, follow the signs towards Fomm ir-Riħ Beach which is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop down the road.
