Walking
From the center of Mdina, head towards the Mdina Gate and exit the city. Once outside, follow the signs towards Rabat. After a short walk, you will reach the main road (Triq il-Wied). Continue straight along this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Triq San Xmun. Turn left onto Triq San Xmun and continue walking for about 500 meters until you see the sign for Kantra Valley on your right. Follow the path down into the valley.
Walking
Alternatively, from the entrance of Mdina, you can take Triq il-Mosta, which leads directly towards the outskirts. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq il-Wied. Continue along this road for about 1 kilometer. When you reach the intersection with Triq San Xmun, turn right and walk for about 500 meters to reach Kantra Valley.
Public Transport
If you prefer public transport, you can take a bus from the Mdina bus stop. Look for bus number 202 or 203, which heads towards Rabat. Get off at the stop closest to Triq San Xmun. From there, walk towards the valley, which is about a 10-minute walk straight ahead.
