Walking
From the Mdina city gate, walk straight through the main road that leads into Mdina. Continue walking until you reach the end of the city, where the road forks. At the fork, take the left path that leads to St. Paul's Cathedral. After visiting the cathedral, proceed to the main square and exit through the gates towards Rabat. Once you're in Rabat, head towards the bus station located on Triq Sant'Agatha. From the bus station, catch a bus heading towards Munxar. Once you arrive at Munxar, walk towards the coastline and look for signs directing you to the Sanap Cliffs, which are a short walk from the bus stop.
Public Transport
Start at the Mdina city gate and walk to the nearest bus stop located on Triq Sant'Agatha in Rabat. Board a bus heading towards Munxar. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Munxar bus stop, exit and walk towards the coast. Follow the signs for Sanap Cliffs which are located a short distance from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time to ensure you catch a return bus after your visit.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Mdina. After renting, exit Mdina through the city gate and follow the road leading towards Rabat. Once in Rabat, follow the signs towards Munxar. The ride will take around 30 minutes, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way. Once you reach Munxar, park your bicycle at a designated area, and walk towards the Sanap Cliffs, which are nearby.
