Getting There

Walking
From the Mdina Main Gate, enter through the gate and walk straight down the main thoroughfare, Triq Villegaignon. Continue along this road, enjoying the views of the ancient city walls and the beautiful architecture on either side. As you reach the end of the street, you will find yourself at the intersection with Triq San Pawl. Turn right onto Triq San Pawl and continue straight. After a short walk, you will reach the Piazza. From there, take a slight left onto Triq Sant'Agatha, which will lead you to the majestic Bastion Square, known for its stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

If you are near St. Paul's Cathedral, exit the cathedral and head towards the main square, known as the Villegaignon Square. From the square, proceed to Triq Villegaignon and head towards the Main Gate. As you approach the Main Gate, follow the same route as mentioned before: walk through the gate and proceed down Triq Villegaignon, then turn right onto Triq San Pawl, and continue straight until you reach Bastion Square.

Turn right onto Triq Villegaignon and proceed to the Main Gate. Once at the Main Gate, follow the previous directions to reach Bastion Square.
