Getting There

  • Bus

    From Sliema, walk to the nearest bus stop on the waterfront, which is called 'Sliema Ferries'. Look for the bus services labeled '101' or '102' heading towards Mellieħa. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the 'Mellieħa' bus terminus. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to reach Selmun. If walking, head northwest on Triq Il-Lunzjata for about 20 minutes until you reach Selmun.

  • Ferry and Bus

    Start at the Sliema Ferries terminal and take the ferry to Valletta. Once you arrive in Valletta, walk to the bus terminus located just outside the ferry terminal. Here, catch the bus '41' or '42' heading towards Mellieħa. After about 50 minutes, get off at the 'Mellieħa' bus stop. From the bus stop, head northwest on Triq Il-Lunzjata for about 20 minutes to reach Selmun.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start from the main promenade in Sliema. Head north along the waterfront until you reach the end of the promenade. Continue straight on Triq Il-Kbira, then turn left onto Triq Il-Lunzjata. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 hours, enjoying the beautiful Maltese scenery until you arrive in Selmun, Mellieħa. It's a longer trek, so ensure you are prepared with water and comfortable walking shoes.
