From Mellieha, head to the nearest bus stop on Triq il-Luzzu. Take the bus number 41 or 42 heading towards Valletta. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop called 'Mdina'. Once you get off, you will see signs directing you towards Mdina. Follow the signs for about a 10-minute walk towards the entrance of Mdina. Palazz Vilhena is located at VCM3+WHC, Mdina Rd, which is just a short walk from the main entrance.

If you prefer to walk from Mellieha to Mdina, you can take the scenic route along the countryside. Start at the main square in Mellieha and head south on Triq il-Luzzu. Continue straight until you reach a fork in the road, then take the right path towards the hills. Follow the signs for Mdina, which should take you about 1 hour and 15 minutes on foot. Once you arrive at the city gates of Mdina, Palazz Vilhena is located a short walk away on Mdina Rd.
