Start your journey in the center of Mellieha, at the Mellieha Parish Church. From the church, head north on Triq il-Linja towards Triq Sant'Elija. Continue straight until you reach the main road, Triq il-Bajja. Turn left onto Triq il-Bajja and walk towards the beach area. As you approach the coast, look for the signs leading towards Qammieh. Follow the coastal path, which is well-marked and offers beautiful views of the sea. The path will lead you through some lush vegetation. Qammieh is located along the coast, and you will see signs indicating its entrance. The walk is approximately 30 minutes from the church.
Public Transport
From the Mellieha bus stop located near the parish church, take bus number 101 towards Cirkewwa. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the Qammieh bus stop. From there, follow the path leading down towards the coastline. You will find signs directing you to Qammieh. The total travel time, including the bus ride and walking, is around 25-30 minutes.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Mellieha. Start at the Mellieha Square and head towards Triq il-Linja, following the same route as if walking. Once you reach Triq il-Bajja, continue along the coastal road, enjoying the scenic views as you ride. The cycling distance to Qammieh is about 2.5 km and should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace.
