Walking
From the central area of Mgarr, head east towards the main road, Triq il-Knisja. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq ta' Gidwi. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Mdina Road (Triq Mdina). Turn right onto Mdina Road, and continue walking for another 500 meters. You will see Palazz Vilhena on your left side, located at VCM3+WHC, Mdina Rd, Mdina.

Public Bus
From Mgarr, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the Mgarr ferry terminal. Look for the bus that is heading to Valletta and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Mdina. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mdina bus stop, walk about 300 meters along Mdina Road, and you will find Palazz Vilhena on your left at VCM3+WHC, Mdina Rd, Mdina.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Mgarr. Start by heading east on Triq il-Knisja towards the main road. Continue until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Triq ta' Gidwi. Follow this road straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Mdina Road (Triq Mdina). Turn right and cycle for about 500 meters until you see Palazz Vilhena on your left at VCM3+WHC, Mdina Rd, Mdina.
