Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Mgarr, head east towards Triq il-Mithna. Continue straight until you reach the main road (Triq San Pawl). Turn left onto Triq San Pawl and walk towards the direction of Rabat. After about 15 minutes, you will reach Rabat. Upon entering Rabat, follow the signs towards St. Agatha's Catacombs. The entrance is located on Triq Sant Agata, Hal-Bajjada, which is a short walk from the main square in Rabat.

    From Mgarr, take bus number 41 or 42 towards Valletta. Get off at the stop for Rabat. Once you exit the bus, head towards the direction of the main square in Rabat. From the square, follow the signs to St. Agatha's Catacombs, which is about a 10-minute walk. The entrance is located on Triq Sant Agata, Hal-Bajjada.
