Walking
From the main square in Mgarr, head towards the bus stop located on the main road (Triq il-Knisja). Once there, look for the bus heading to Xagħra. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Xagħra stop. From the bus stop, walk straight down Triq il-Knisja until you reach the junction with Triq Ta' Kola. Turn left onto Triq Ta' Kola, and the Ta’ Kola Windmill will be a short walk ahead on your right.

After arriving at the Mgarr ferry terminal, walk to the bus stop on the main road. Board the bus that goes to Xagħra. Once you arrive at the Xagħra bus stop, exit and head straight down Triq il-Knisja. Continue until you reach the intersection with Triq Ta' Kola, then turn left. The Ta’ Kola Windmill will be visible shortly on your right.
