Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the Mgarr ferry terminal, head east on Triq il-Ferrovija towards Triq il-Mithna and continue straight for approximately 500 meters. You will pass by various local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Hamrun. After you reach the end of the road, turn left onto Triq il-Kanun and walk for another 300 meters until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn right onto Triq San Nikola. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Triq il-Mosta. Turn left, and then continue walking straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the Fra Diegu Monument on your right, located at the intersection of Triq il-Mosta and the Unnamed Road.

    From Mgarr, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the ferry terminal. Take bus number 45 towards Valletta. After about 15 minutes, alight at the Hamrun stop. From there, walk straight along Triq il-Kanun for about 300 meters, then turn right onto Triq San Nikola. Walk straight along this road until you reach the intersection with Triq il-Mosta. Turn left and walk approximately 1 kilometer, and you will find the Fra Diegu Monument on your right at the intersection with the Unnamed Road.
