Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Mgarr, head southeast on Triq l-Imdina. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Triq Dingli. Turn left onto Triq Dingli and continue walking until you come to the bus stop at Triq D'Argens. Here, you can take the bus towards Valletta. Board the bus and ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop for Mdina. Disembark at the 'Mdina' bus stop. From there, it's a short walk up Triq Mesquita, where you will see the entrance to Mdina fortress on your left.

    Start at the main square in Mgarr, where the bus stops are located. Look for the bus heading towards Valletta or Mdina. Purchase your ticket from the bus driver or at the ticket machine if available. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride for approximately 15 minutes. When you arrive at the Mdina stop, exit the bus and walk up Triq Mesquita. The Mdina fortress entrance will be visible shortly along this street.
