Walking
Start at the Mgarr bus station. Exit the bus station and head towards the main road (Triq Il-Wied). Turn left and walk along the road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Triq L-Ibrag. Continue straight along this road, and you will pass by some local shops and cafes. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will see a sign for Mdina. Follow the signs that lead you towards Mdina, which will take you through a scenic countryside path. As you approach Mdina, you will start to see the city walls. Continue walking until you reach the Mdina Gate, which is the main entrance to the old city.

From Mgarr, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Mgarr bus station. Take bus number 41 or 42 towards Valletta. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop for 'Mdina.'
