Bus
If you are in Rabat, head to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards the city of Mdina. You can ask locals which bus to take, but typically, Bus 81 will take you to Mdina. Once you arrive at the Mdina bus terminal, exit the bus and walk towards the main gate of Mdina, known as the Mdina Gate. After entering, follow the signs to Villegaignon Street. The Metropolitan Cathedral Archives is located at 11, Ange’s Palace on this street, just a short walk from the gate.

If you are already in Mdina, you can easily walk to the Metropolitan Cathedral Archives. From the Mdina Gate, walk straight along the main road until you reach the first intersection. Turn left onto Villegaignon Street. Continue walking down Villegaignon Street, and you will see Ange’s Palace on your left. The Metropolitan Cathedral Archives is located at number 11, just a few steps from the main road.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Rabat to Mdina. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Mdina and ask to be dropped off at the Mdina Gate. Once you arrive, follow the same walking directions: enter the gate, turn left onto Villegaignon Street, and you will find the Metropolitan Cathedral Archives at 11, Ange’s Palace.
