From the center of Mqabba, head north on Triq il-Kunvent until you reach the main road, Triq Sant' Anton. Turn left onto Triq Sant' Anton and continue straight until you reach the bus stop. From here, you can take bus number 81, which will take you towards Mdina. Once you're on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride. The bus will drop you off at the entrance of Mdina. Upon exiting the bus, walk straight ahead; the historic walls of Mdina will be right in front of you. Enter through the main gate, and you will find yourself in the beautiful medieval city.
Public Transport
While in Mqabba, make your way to the nearest bus stop located on Triq il-Kunvent. Wait for bus number 81, which travels towards Mdina. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes, passing through several picturesque areas. Once you arrive at the Mdina bus terminal, exit the bus and walk through the main gate. You will be greeted by the stunning architecture and atmosphere of Mdina.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Mqabba. Start from the center of Mqabba and head north on Triq il-Kunvent. Follow this road until you reach the main road, Triq Sant' Anton. Turn left onto Triq Sant' Anton and continue straight to where the road leads into the countryside. Keep following the signs for Mdina, which will guide you through a scenic route. The journey should take about 20-30 minutes by bike, and you can lock your bike at the entrance of Mdina before exploring the city.
