Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Mqabba, head northeast on Triq il-Lewza towards Triq San Mikiel. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the junction with Triq il-Parrocca. Turn left onto Triq il-Parrocca and follow it for another 400 meters. You will pass a few local shops on your right. Continue straight until you see the sign for Dingli. Once you reach the main road, turn right onto Triq Dingli and continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will eventually reach Dingli village. The Cart Ruts are located just off the main road at V92P+JR6, where you will see markers indicating the site.

  • Public Transport

    From Mqabba, make your way to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Triq il-Lewza. Take Bus 81 towards Valletta and get off at the stop 'Dingli'. This bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Dingli, exit the bus and head towards the main road. From there, walk about 700 meters northeast on Triq Dingli. You will see signs leading you to the Cart Ruts at V92P+JR6. Follow the path indicated by the signage to reach the attraction.

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Mqabba. Start your journey by heading northeast on Triq il-Lewza, then turn left onto Triq il-Parrocca. Continue on this road for about 400 meters. Once you reach the main road, turn right onto Triq Dingli and cycle for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see Dingli village ahead, and the Cart Ruts are located just off the main road at V92P+JR6. Be mindful of traffic as you navigate the roads.
