Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Mqabba, head south on Triq il-Hamrija towards Triq il-Kbira. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Triq Hagar Qim. Turn left onto Triq Hagar Qim and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see the Hagar Qim Temple on your right at Triq Hagar Qim, Il-Qrendi QRD 2501.

  • Public Bus

    From Mqabba, walk to the nearest bus stop at Triq il-Kbira. Catch the bus 201 towards Qrendi. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Hagar Qim' bus stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk. Head straight down Triq Hagar Qim, and you will reach the temple entrance.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from Mqabba and cycle south on Triq il-Hamrija towards Triq il-Kbira. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Triq Hagar Qim. Turn left onto Triq Hagar Qim and ride for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The Hagar Qim Temple will be on your right side.
