We found them to be a pretty good way to see all the tourist attractions

There are a couple of companies running this type of tour. Blue tour goes round the north of Malta, Red tour goes round the south of Malta and Green tour goes to Gozo. We found them to be a pretty good way to see all the tourist attractions. Most places of interest included and hopping off for an hour to visit and then hopping back on the next bus worked for us. Buses not crowded (maybe October was a good time of the year). Audio was a bit "hit and miss" but we were there to see the sights (great from the open top). At 20 euros each for a full days travel, we thought it was good value for money.

Taxien Temples and ordinary Maltese life

We joined Linda and a coach load of tourists for a tour to the Taxien temples, the Blue Grotto and the traditional fishing village. The swim opportunity was not possible because of the weather; well, it was winter. Instead we had extra time at the village. My favourite part was the visit to the temples.
