Car
If you are traveling by car, start from any location in the Northern District and navigate towards Gharb. Use the main roads such as the SP-1 or SP-2 leading towards the west coast of Malta. Follow the signs to Gharb, and once you reach the village, look for the coordinates 36H7+J55. You will find parking available near the site. Please be aware that some parking areas may have a fee, so keep some coins handy just in case.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the bus route 101 from various points in the Northern District towards Gharb. The bus will drop you off at the main square in Gharb. From there, it's a 20-minute walk to Wied il-Mielaħ Window. Head northwest on Triq il-Vigneto, then follow the signs to Wied il-Mielaħ. Be prepared for uneven terrain as you approach the window. Note that bus tickets cost around €1.50 for a single journey.
Walking
Once you arrive in Gharb, if you prefer to walk, follow the pedestrian paths from the main square. Head towards Triq il-Vigneto, and then take a left onto a smaller trail that leads directly to Wied il-Mielaħ Window. The walk is approximately 30 minutes and offers beautiful views of the landscape. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as some parts of the path can be rocky.
