Car
If you are driving from anywhere in Northern Harbour, head towards the main road (Triq il-Labour) and follow the signs for Marsascala. Continue straight for about 5 km until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit towards Marsaskala. After approximately 2 km, watch for signs indicating Il-Kalanka, and turn left onto Triq il-Kalanka. Continue down this road until you reach the beach area. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a fee, typically around €1-€2 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Il-Kalanka via public transport, start at the Valletta Bus Terminal in Northern Harbour. Take bus number 81 or 82 towards Marsascala. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the 'Zonqor' stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes. Head southeast on Triq Sant'Antnin, turn left onto Triq il-Kalanka, and follow the road until you arrive at the beach. The bus fare is around €1.50 for a single journey.
