Getting There

  • Car

    From the Northern Region, take the main road towards Valletta (Triq Sant'Anna). Follow the signs for the Mtarfa Road (A1). Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at Rabat. Take the third exit onto Triq il-Wied, and then follow the signs to Qrendi. Once in Qrendi, look for Triq Hagar Qim; the temple is located a short distance down this road. There is parking available near the site. Note that entry to Hagar Qim Temple may have an entrance fee, so be prepared for this cost.

  • Public Transportation

    From the Northern Region, take bus route 81 or 82 towards Valletta. Once in Valletta, transfer to bus route 119 towards Qrendi. The bus will take you close to Hagar Qim Temple. Get off at the stop 'Hagar Qim,' which is a short walk from the entrance of the temple. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings as they can vary, and keep in mind that you may need to pay for the bus fare.

    If you're already in Qrendi, you can walk to Hagar Qim Temple. From the center of Qrendi, head south on Triq il-Knisja, then turn left onto Triq Hagar Qim.
