    From the center of Paola, head to the nearest bus stop on Triq il-Kbira. Take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. Get off at the 'Gżira' stop. Once you get off, walk towards the seafront along Triq ix-Xatt. Continue walking until you reach the bridge that connects Gżira to Manoel Island. Cross the bridge and follow the signs to Fort Manoel.

    If you prefer walking, start from the Paola Parish Church. Head north on Triq il-Kbira towards Triq San Ġakbu. Continue straight and turn right onto Triq il-Labour. Cross the bridge and follow the signs to Fort Manoel.
