Bus
From the center of Paola, head to the nearest bus stop on Triq il-Kbira. Take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. Get off at the 'Gżira' stop. Once you get off, walk towards the seafront along Triq ix-Xatt. Continue walking until you reach the bridge that connects Gżira to Manoel Island. Cross the bridge and follow the signs to Fort Manoel.
Walk
If you prefer walking, start from the Paola Parish Church. Head north on Triq il-Kbira towards Triq San Ġakbu. Continue straight and turn right onto Triq il-Labour. Follow this road until you reach The Mall, a large park. Walk through the park, exiting towards the seafront. Continue along the promenade until you reach the bridge leading to Manoel Island. Cross the bridge and follow the signs to Fort Manoel.
Taxi
For a more direct option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Paola. Just tell the driver 'Fort Manoel in Gżira' or show them the address: WG34+732 Manoel Island, Il-Gżira. The ride should take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
