Walking
From the center of Paola, head south on Triq Il-Kbira. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq Il-Mallia. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass by a few shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Birgu. After reaching the end of Triq Il-Mallia, turn right onto Triq Il-Kottonera. Notre Dame Gate will be on your left side after a short walk, marked prominently.

Public Transport
From Paola, take bus route 81 or 82 from the Paola bus terminal. The journey to Birgu will take around 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Birgu' stop, which is near the entrance of the town. Once you disembark, walk towards the sea, and follow the waterfront promenade. Continue walking until you reach Triq Il-Kottonera. Notre Dame Gate will be located on your left side along this road.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from any location in Paola. Simply ask the driver to take you to 'Notre Dame Gate in Birgu'. The journey should take no more than 10 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to Triq Il-Kottonera, where you can easily spot the gate.
