Walking
From the center of Paola, head north on Triq Il-Kbira towards the main road (Triq San Pawl). Turn left onto Triq San Pawl and continue straight until you reach the bus stop at the end of the road. From there, take the bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta, which will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Valletta, get off at the last stop. After exiting the bus, walk towards the city gate and enter Valletta. Continue straight along Republic Street until you reach the Upper Barrakka Gardens, located at 292 Triq Sant' Orsla.
Public Transport
Start at the Paola bus terminus and catch bus number 81 or 82 to Valletta. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. When you arrive at the Valletta bus station, exit the terminal and walk towards the main entrance of Valletta. Proceed to the right, following the signs to the Upper Barrakka. As you walk, you will see the beautiful architecture and shops along the way. The Upper Barrakka Gardens is located on Triq Sant' Orsla, which is a short walk from the main entrance.
