Walk
From the center of Paola, head north on Triq il-Knisja towards Triq San Tumas. Continue straight until you reach the main road, Triq il-Labour. Cross the road and follow it towards the direction of Valletta. You will see signs for Valletta. Continue walking straight for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Valletta. As you enter Valletta, you will see Republic Street ahead.
Bus
From Paola, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Paola Square. Take bus number 81 or 82 heading towards Valletta. The ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminus, exit the bus and walk straight to reach Republic Street, which is a short walk away.
Taxi
You can find taxis in Paola near the main square. Simply approach a taxi and inform the driver you want to go to Valletta. The driver will take you directly to Republic Street. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
