Car
Start your journey at Popeye Village, located in the town of Mellieħa. Exit the village and head towards the main road (Triq il-Luzzu). Follow the signs towards Mellieħa and the main road will lead you towards Triq, Mellieħa. After approximately 2 km, you will arrive at the Manikata Aqueduct, which is located at the coordinates W9W3+M25. There is no designated parking at the aqueduct, so you may have to park on the roadside.
Public Transportation
From Popeye Village, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located along the main road (Triq il-Luzzu). Take the bus towards Mellieħa and disembark at the Mellieħa bus terminal. From there, you will need to take Bus Route 43 towards Manikata. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you reach the Manikata stop, the aqueduct is just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the local bus schedules for the latest timings.
Walking
If you prefer to walk and enjoy the scenery, begin your walk from Popeye Village and head towards the main road (Triq il-Luzzu). Follow the road towards Mellieħa. This walk is about 2 km and takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Triq, Mellieħa, continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will find the Manikata Aqueduct at the coordinates W9W3+M25. Ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes and stay hydrated.
