Car
If you are driving from Ramla Bay to Fort Mellieħa, start by heading northwest on Triq Ramla towards Triq Il-Prajjet. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Triq Il-Mellieħa. Turn left onto Triq Il-Mellieħa and follow the road. After about 2.5 km, you will see signs directing you to Fort Mellieħa. Follow the signs, and as you approach the fort, you will find parking available nearby. Please note that parking may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Fort Mellieħa via public transportation, start by finding the nearest bus stop to your location in Ramla Bay. Take bus number 101 or 102 towards Mellieħa. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Mellieħa, Il-Fortizza' bus stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Fort Mellieħa. Head up Triq Il-Fortizza; the fort entrance will be on your right. Be sure to check the bus schedule beforehand, as services may vary.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route from Ramla Bay to Fort Mellieħa. Start at the beach and head north along the coastline. This route takes about 45 minutes and provides beautiful views of the bay. Once you reach the main road, head towards Triq Il-Fortizza and follow the signs to the fort. Keep in mind it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, especially on warmer days.
