Getting There

  • Car

    From Ramla Bay, head south on Triq Ramla towards Triq il-Qammieħ. Continue on Triq il-Qammieħ until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq il-Pergla. Follow the signs towards Xagħra. After approximately 4 km, you will arrive at Xerri's Grotto, located at 'reet, gozo Xagħra XRA1621'. There is free parking available nearby.

    From Ramla Bay, walk to the nearest bus stop on Triq Ramla. Take Bus 44 towards Victoria. After around 15 minutes, get off at the Xagħra stop. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Xerri's Grotto. Head north on Triq il-Knisja, then turn right onto Triq il-Pergla. Continue straight until you reach Xerri's Grotto at 'reet, gozo Xagħra XRA1621'. The bus fare is approximately €1.50.

    If you prefer to walk from Ramla Bay, begin at the beach and head towards Triq Ramla. Follow this road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Triq il-Pergla. Continue walking for about 4 km (approximately 1 hour), and you will arrive at Xerri's Grotto. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as some paths may be uneven.
