Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from Sliema Ferries, head east along the waterfront promenade towards the direction of Valletta. Keep following the promenade until you reach the end of the Sliema seafront. You'll see the big sign for Valletta on your left. Continue walking towards the Valletta water taxi terminal. From there, you can catch a water taxi directly to Valletta. Once you arrive at the Valletta waterfront, head towards the upper city by walking up the steps or taking the lift. Follow the main road leading to City Gate, and as you enter Valletta, continue straight until you reach Republic Street. The Parliament Building will be on your right, just a few minutes from the entrance.

  • Bus

    From Sliema, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road (The Strand). Look for the bus stop with a sign indicating routes to Valletta. You can take bus numbers 13, 14, 16, or 22, which all go directly to Valletta. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminus, exit the bus and walk towards the City Gate entrance. From there, proceed straight along Republic Street; the Parliament Building is located just a short walk ahead on your right side.

    From Sliema, make your way to the Sliema Ferries area, which is a popular spot for ferries heading to Valletta. Look for the ferry terminal and purchase a ticket for the Valletta ferry. The journey across the harbor takes about 10-15 minutes and offers beautiful views of the city. Once you arrive at the Valletta ferry terminal, head up the steps to the main road and walk straight until you reach City Gate. Continue along Republic Street, and the Parliament Building will be on your right side as you walk towards the main square.
