    Getting There

    Ferry

    From Sliema, head towards the Sliema Ferries terminal located along the promenade. Look for the ticket booth for ferry services to Valletta. Purchase a ticket to Birgu. Once you board the ferry, enjoy the scenic ride across the Grand Harbour. The ferry ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Disembark at the Birgu ferry terminal, and you will see signs directing you to Fort St. Angelo. It’s a short walk from the terminal, just follow the waterfront path.

    Public Bus

    From Sliema, walk to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. Inform the driver you want to get off at the stop for Birgu. The bus journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you disembark, walk towards the waterfront area in Birgu. Follow the waterfront path until you see signs for Fort St. Angelo. It’s a short and pleasant walk from the bus stop.

    Walking

    If you prefer walking, you can stroll along the promenade from Sliema to Birgu. Start at the Sliema Ferries and head south along the seafront. This walk will take about 1 hour and offers beautiful views of the Grand Harbour. Keep walking until you reach the Birgu area. Once you arrive, follow the waterfront path, and you will find signs directing you to Fort St. Angelo.
