Public Bus
From Sliema, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the Strand near the Sliema Ferries. Board bus number 222 towards Mellieħa. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. You will get off at the 'Mellieha Bay' bus stop. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Imġiebaħ Bay. Head north along the road until you reach the coastal path, which will lead you to the beach.
Ferry and Bus
Start by taking a ferry from Sliema Ferries to Valletta. Once you arrive in Valletta, head to the bus terminal located outside the ferry terminal. Take bus number 41 or 42 towards Mellieħa. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. Get off at the 'Mellieha Bay' stop, then walk for 15 minutes to Imġiebaħ Bay by following the coastal path.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk to Imġiebaħ Bay. Starting from the Sliema Promenade, head north towards St. Julian's and then continue along the coast towards Mellieħa. This is a long walk of about 10-12 km, so be prepared for a trek that will take several hours. Make sure to bring water and wear comfortable shoes.
