Getting There

Bus
From any point in Sliema, walk to the nearest bus stop along the main road, Triq Tigné or Triq il-Kbira. Look for the bus number 41 or 42, which will take you towards the direction of Naxxar. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Salina' bus stop. From there, walk along Salina Coast Road for approximately 10 minutes; the Salina Nature Reserve will be on your left-hand side.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the Sliema seafront promenade and head towards St. Julian's. Continue walking along the coast until you reach the end of the promenade near Spinola Bay. From there, follow the signs directing you to the bus terminal in Valletta, where you can catch a bus to Naxxar. After reaching Naxxar, follow the previous bus directions to get to Salina Nature Reserve.

You can easily hail a taxi from any point in Sliema. Request the driver to take you to Salina Nature Reserve located on Salina Coast Road in Naxxar. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
