Getting There

  • Walk

    From the Sliema Ferries area, head towards the promenade along the coastline. Continue walking past the Tigné Point shopping mall on your left. Follow the promenade as it curves towards the left, and you will see the entrance to the Valletta Ferry Terminal ahead. The ferry runs regularly to Valletta. Take the ferry across the Grand Harbour, which takes about 10-15 minutes.

  • Walk

    Once you arrive at the Valletta Ferry Terminal, disembark and walk towards the city gate. Continue straight on Republic Street, which is the main thoroughfare of Valletta. Keep walking until you reach the end of Republic Street, where you will see the Upper Barracca Gardens on your left and the Grand Harbour on your right. Continue walking straight until you reach Pinto Wharf. The Valletta Cruise Port is located at Vault 1, Upper Floor, Pinto Wharf, which is a short walk from here.

  • Bus

    From Sliema, you can also take bus number 13 or 14 from the bus stop near the Ferries area. Board the bus and enjoy the ride to Valletta. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Valletta bus terminus, which is near the entrance to the city. From there, follow the earlier walking directions towards Pinto Wharf to reach Valletta Cruise Port.
