Getting There

Walking
Start from the Sliema Ferries area, where you can see the sea and the bustling promenade. Head north on the promenade, walking along the coastline. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the end of the promenade near the old stone fortifications. Look for a sign pointing towards Valletta. Follow the path leading towards the city. After about 5 minutes, you'll come to the bus station. From there, you can catch a bus to Valletta. Take bus number 133, which will take you directly to Valletta. Once in Valletta, disembark at the last stop.

Public Transport
From any point in Sliema, make your way to the Sliema Bus Terminus. Look for the bus routes that go to Valletta; the most frequent are buses 12, 13, and 14. Board the bus and enjoy the 15-minute ride to Valletta. When you arrive, disembark at the main bus terminal in Valletta. From there, walk straight toward the main square, and then head left towards the direction of the Upper Barracca Gardens. As you walk through Valletta, keep an eye out for signs pointing to the cafe. Volare Cafe is located on a side street off the main thoroughfare, VGX6+6RW.
