Walk
Start at the Sliema Ferries. Head towards the promenade along the coast. Walk along the promenade, enjoying the sea view. When you reach the end of the promenade, continue straight onto the main road, Triq Tigne, heading towards the direction of Valletta. Follow the main road until you reach the bus terminus at Floriana. From there, you can take a direct bus to Valletta.
Bus
From Sliema, walk to the nearest bus stop on the main road (Triq Tigne). Look for buses heading to Valletta. The bus numbers you can take include 13, 14, or 15. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. The bus will drop you off near the City Gate of Valletta. From there, you can easily walk to Republic Street.
Ferry
Head to the Sliema Ferries and look for the ferry service to Valletta. Purchase a ticket for the ferry. The ferry ride is scenic and takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta ferry terminal, walk straight up to the City Gate and continue onto Republic Street.
