Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the Mosta area. From Valletta, take the main road towards Birkirkara. Once in Birkirkara, follow the signs for Mosta. The route will lead you onto Triq il-Wied. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout and take the first exit onto Triq il-Kbira. Follow this road until you reach the Rotunda Square. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  For those using public transport, you can catch a bus from Valletta to Mosta. Look for buses with the number 41, 42, or 49, as they all head towards Mosta. The journey takes around 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Mosta bus station, it is a short 5-minute walk to Rotunda Square. Just exit the bus station, head straight down Triq il-Kbira, and you'll see the impressive Mosta Rotunda ahead.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route or are traveling in a group, consider taking a taxi. Taxis are available throughout the South Eastern Region, and you can easily book one via a phone app or by hailing one on the street. The ride from Valletta to Mosta should take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic, and the cost will generally be between €20-€25.

• Walking

  If you're staying nearby, walking to Mosta Rotunda can be a pleasant experience. From the center of Mosta, follow the signs to Rotunda Square. As you walk, you can enjoy the local shops and cafes. The Rotunda is a prominent landmark, so it's hard to miss. Just remember to wear comfortable shoes, as some streets may be cobblestoned.
