Car
If you are driving from Valletta, take the southern route via the Marsa-Hamrun bypass. Follow signs for the south (Sliema, Birkirkara). Merge onto the SS 175 and continue straight. After about 10 km, take the exit toward Marsaxlokk. Stay on the road as it winds down toward the coast, and follow the signs to Marsaxlokk. Once in the village, continue to the waterfront area, and look for the signs to Ponta tal-Grigal. The site is located at RHV9+FHP, Marsaxlokk.
Public Transportation
To reach Ponta tal-Grigal using public transport, start by taking Bus 81 or 82 from Valletta to Marsaxlokk. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Marsaxlokk, disembark at the main bus stop, which is located near the waterfront. From there, it's about a 15-20 minute walk towards Ponta tal-Grigal. Follow the waterfront promenade towards the east side of Marsaxlokk, and you will see signs leading you towards the hiking area.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Marsaxlokk, head east along the coastline. The path is well-marked and offers scenic views of the sea and surrounding cliffs. It will take about 20-30 minutes to reach Ponta tal-Grigal from the village center. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as there are no facilities along the walking route.
