Walking
If you're starting from the popular area of Paceville, head east on St. George's Road towards the coast. When you reach the seafront, turn left onto the promenade and continue walking along the coastline. After about 15 minutes, you will arrive at the entrance of Valletta. Once you pass through the City Gate, follow Republic Street straight ahead. Continue walking until you reach Independence Square, which is just a few minutes away.
Bus
From St. Julian's, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Spinola Bay.' Take bus number 13 or 14 towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Castille' bus stop. From there, walk up the hill towards Republic Street, then continue straight until you reach Independence Square.

You can easily find a taxi in St. Julian's. Simply hail one from the street or use a ride-hailing app. Inform the driver that you want to go to Independence Square in Valletta. The drive will take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off at the square itself.
