Start from the center of St. Julian's at Spinola Bay. Head southeast towards the main road (Triq Sant'Andrija) and turn left. Walk along the road until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Triq il-Kbira. Continue straight, passing by the Portomaso Marina on your left. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq il-Lunzjata. Follow this road as it winds down towards the coast. You'll eventually reach a junction where you will need to turn right onto Triq San Dwardu. Continue straight until you hit Birgu. The Freedom Day Monument is located in the main square; look for the large structure that commemorates Malta's Freedom Day.
