From St. Julian's, head to the nearest bus stop on the main road (Triq Sant' Andrija) where you can catch a bus to Mdina. Look for the bus number 81 or 82, which will take you directly to Mdina. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mdina bus terminus, you will be just a short walk from the entrance of the city. Follow the signs for Mdina and enter through the main gate, which will lead you to Greek's Gate.

If you prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route. Start from St. Julian's and head towards the coast, walking along the promenade. Once you reach Sliema, continue walking towards Gzira, then follow the signs towards Valletta. From Valletta, you will need to walk towards the bus terminus and then catch a bus to Mdina as mentioned above. The total walking distance is around 10 km, and it will take several hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.

For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from St. Julian's to Mdina. Taxis are readily available in St. Julian's, and you can either hail one on the street or use a taxi app. The journey will take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic, and the driver will take you directly to the entrance of Mdina, close to Greek's Gate.
