Getting There

Bus
From Gzira, walk to the nearest bus stop along the seafront. You can catch the bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you reach Valletta, get off at the bus terminus. From the bus terminus, look for signs directing you to the City Gate. After exiting the City Gate, follow the signs leading to Mdina. It’s about a 30-minute walk uphill to Mdina, where you will find the Greek's Gate.

Ferry and Bus
From Gzira, walk to the Sliema Ferry Terminal, which takes about 15 minutes. Take the ferry to Valletta (the ferry ride is about 10 minutes). Once you arrive in Valletta, head to the bus terminus and catch bus number 81 or 82 towards Mdina. Get off at the last stop, and follow the signs to Greek's Gate, which is about a 30-minute walk from the bus stop.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk directly from Gzira to Mdina. Start by heading towards the seafront promenade and walk along it until you reach the junction. Turn left onto Triq it-Torri, following the signs towards Birkirkara. Continue straight until you reach the Birkirkara roundabout and take the second exit onto Triq Sant'Andrija. Follow this road until you reach Mdina. The walk will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
