    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Tarxien, head north on Triq il-Knisja towards Triq il-Gardiel. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Triq il-Labour. Turn left and follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass some shops and local eateries along the way. Keep walking until you reach the entrance of Valletta, where you will see the city gate. Once you are in Valletta, follow the signs towards the Barracca Lift, located near the Upper Barracca Gardens.

    Bus

    From Tarxien, walk to the nearest bus stop at Triq il-Knisja. Take the bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Valletta bus terminal, exit and head towards the Upper Barracca Gardens. The Barrakka Lift is located near the gardens and is well signposted. Follow the signs for a short walk (about 5 minutes) to reach the lift.
