Walking
Start at the Tarxien Temples, which is a well-known landmark in Tarxien. From there, head north on Triq il-Tempji towards Triq il-Wied. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq il-Knisja. Follow this road until you reach the bus stop at Triq il-Knisja. From here, you can catch a bus to Valletta. Look for the bus number 81 or 82, which will take you directly to Valletta. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Valletta, get off at the 'City Gate' bus stop. After disembarking, walk towards the entrance of Valletta and continue straight until you reach Republic Street. Walk down Republic Street until you see the Grandmaster Palace on your left. The entrance to the Grandmaster Palace Courtyard is easily accessible from here.
Public Transport
From Tarxien, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Triq il-Tempji, which is just a few minutes away. You can take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the City Gate bus terminal in Valletta, exit the bus and follow the signs towards Republic Street. Walk straight down Republic Street, and you will find the Grandmaster Palace Courtyard on your left side. The entrance is well marked and easy to find.
