    Walking

    From the center of Tarxien, head west on Triq il-Kunsill Lokali towards Triq it-Tegħmira. Continue straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Triq il-Birgu. Turn right onto Triq il-Birgu and walk for approximately 700 meters. You will pass by the Tarxien Temples on your left. Keep walking until you reach the waterfront area of Birgu. Once you reach the waterfront, look for the Couvre Porte Counterguard, which is located at Triq it-8 ta' Dicembru. The Malta at War Museum will be near the entrance.

    From Tarxien, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Triq il-Kunsill Lokali. Take bus number 81 towards Valletta. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Birgu' stop. From there, walk towards the waterfront along Triq il-Foss. Once you reach the waterfront, turn left and proceed along the promenade. The Couvre Porte Counterguard will be on your right at Triq it-8 ta' Dicembru, where the Malta at War Museum is situated.
