From the Tarxien Temples, head north on Triq il-Wied towards Triq il-Qasac. Turn left onto Triq il-Qasac and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Triq l-Ibrag. Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and continue walking straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the bus stop at the Sliema Ferries, which is well marked.

From Tarxien, walk to the nearest bus stop on Triq il-Wied. Take bus number 81 or 82 towards Valletta. These buses run frequently. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes and get off at the Sliema Ferries stop. From there, you can easily find the Sliema Ferries departures area, which is near the waterfront.
