Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Tarxien Temples located on Triq it-Torri. Head north on Triq it-Torri until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Triq Għar Dalam. Continue straight until you reach the bus stop 'Tarxien'. From there, catch the bus heading towards Valletta (Route 81 or 82). After about 20 minutes, disembark at the Valletta Terminus. Once you are in Valletta, head towards the Upper Barracca Gardens and follow the signs to Lascaris Ditch. The Lascaris War Rooms will be a short walk downhill from the gardens.

    From Tarxien, walk to the nearest bus stop 'Tarxien' on Triq it-Torri. Take bus Route 81 or 82 towards Valletta. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Valletta Terminus. Upon exiting the bus, follow the signs to the Upper Barracca Gardens, and from there, walk towards Lascaris Ditch. The Lascaris War Rooms is just a short stroll from the gardens.
