The Pub: Valletta's Favorite Gathering Spot

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Tarxien, head northwest on Triq il-Knisja toward Triq it-Torri. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq il-Kunsill Lokali. Follow this road as it becomes Triq il-Linja. After a few minutes, you will reach another roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq San Tumas, and continue straight. You will then see signs for Valletta. As you approach Valletta, follow the signs directing you to the city gate. Once inside Valletta, proceed along Triq il-Merkanti until you reach the corner with Archbishop Street. Turn right onto Archbishop Street, and you will find The Pub at number 136 on your left.

• Public Transport

  From Tarxien, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Triq il-Knisja. Board bus number 81, 82, or 84 towards Valletta. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Disembark at the Valletta terminus. From the bus terminus, walk towards the city gate, then proceed along Triq il-Merkanti. Turn left onto Archbishop Street, and you will find The Pub at 136 Archbishop Street on your left.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a faster option, you can take a taxi from Tarxien to The Pub. Simply ask the driver to take you to 136 Archbishop Street in Valletta. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
